HIGH POWERED JEEPS STOLEN IN CITY HOUSE RAID

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a house burglarly in Ballybane in which two high-powered jeeps were stolen, while the owners were asleep

The raiders are understood to have smashed through the electronic gates and broke in through the front door sometime between 3 and 7am, when the owners raised the alarm.

Gardai say two jeeps were stolen from the driveway of the house in An Culán, Ballybane – an 09 blue Nissan Qashkai and an 07 Silver Hyundai Santa Fe.

The house was also burgled and several electronic items were robbed.
