HIGH COURT RULING AGAINST CITY SOLICITORS FIRM

The High Court has ruled that a Galway-based solicitors firm must stop practicing until it is covered by indemnity insurance.

Lorna Burke appeared before the High Court on behalf of Burke and Co. Solicitors of Kiltartan House, Forster Street.

According to the Irish Times, Burke and Co. are not covered by professional indemnity insurance.

President of the High Court Mr Justice Nicholas Kearns ordered Burke and Co. to stop practicing until insurance had been secured.
