Heavenly show in store in The Loft from ambitious Warsaw Radio

Led by Limerick man Brían McNamara, Warsaw Radio come to The Loft in Seven, Bridge Street, Galway City, this Saturday, March 25. The show is part of a nationwide tour to launch the band’s latest single, After Eve.

Produced by Jag Jago (The Maccabees and Florence Welch) and mastered by John Davis (U2 and White Lies) at Metropolis in London, After Eve features lush orchestration and McNamara’s distinctive vocals. The lyrics imagine what happened to Adam and Eve after they were forced out of the Garden of Eden, as told from Adam’s perspective.

Fresh from their feature on the ‘BBC Introducing’ programme, Warsaw Radio will arrive back on home soil to play shows in Whelan’s, Dublin; Crane Lane, Cork; Dolan’s, Limerick, and The Loft here in Galway before returning to the UK, where they will play the Brighton Fringe Festival in May.

For the Loft concert, Brían McNamara will be joined by Nicola Bates on violin and backing vocals, Paul Lennox on drums, Laurence Bridge on bass, Chris Webber on lead guitar.

Warsaw Radio take influence from the likes of Wilco, Fleetwood Mac, The Waterboys and The Frames.  This is a band with ambition and an ear for big arrangements, so expect an impassioned performance in The Loft.
