HEARING OVER LOUGHREA CREDIT UNION INVESTMENT

A high court hearing is underway involving Naomh Brendáin Credit Union in Loughrea and investment advisers, McLoughlin and Staunton Limited of Loughrea.

Both are appealing a decision by the Financial Services Ombudsman on a complaint by the Credit Union about an investment in a Friends First bond in 2007.
