HEALTH UNIONS HEAR SPECIFICS OF PLANNED HSE CUTS AS TALKS ENTER SEVENTH HOUR

Health Union officials are this evening responding to the HSE’s presentation on cuts to health services and jobs across the region.

The jobs of 300 HSE west contract workers, the jobs of five radiologists at UHG and a reduction in home help hours, are all under the cost saving spotlight.

The talks have now entered their seventh hour and are at the stage where both sides are presenting their views under the stewardship of the Labour Relations Commission
