Health Minister says Galway radiotherapy project will not be shelved
Galway Bay fm newsroom – The Health Minister is denying that building projects scheduled for Galway in 2014 will be shelved or delayed because of the shortfall in his budget.
It follows reports today that radiotherapy facilities for cancer patients in Galway and Cork could be parked because the HSE is looking at cutting the capital budget in order to make savings.
But Minister James Reilly says that won’t be allowed to happen.
