HEALTH MINISTER EXPECTS SAVITA REPORT TO BE COMPLETED WITHIN 10 DAYS

The Health Minister says he expects the report into the death of Savita Halappanavar will be completed within ten days.

Leaked extracts from a draft report shows there was a litany of medical failures at UHG.

It also says staff should have considered performing an abortion even before Savita and Praveen Halappanavar requested it.

31 year old Savita died at UHG on the 28th of October 2012, after suffering a miscarriage and contracting septicaemia.
