Health Minister asked to comment on Noel Daly resignation

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Sinn Féin’s demanding an immediate statement from the health minister over the resignation of a hospital chief.
Noel Daly resigned as chairman of the West-North West Hospital Group last night after allegations of a conflict of interest.
Mr Daly is a shareholder in a consultancy firm which was hired by the same Hospital Group to draw up a report on maternity services in the region.
Sinn Féin’s health spokesman Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin says the minister now needs to explain why Mr Daly was given the job in the first place.
