HEADFORD WOMAN ATTACKED IN HER HOME

Gardaí in Headford are appealing for the public’s assistance after a woman was attacked in her own home this lunchtime.

The incident happened at a house in Mausrevagh which is close to St.cuana’s national school at around quarter to one.

The woman went to the basement of her home where a man grabbed her hair and hit her head off the wall before fleeing the scene.

The man is described as five feet 9 inches tall, of thin build, and was wearing a navy or black hoodie that covered his head.

Garda Peader Brick from Headford Garda station says they are treating the incident as an aggravated burglary
