HEADFORD NURSING HOME OWNER WINS APPEAL AGAINST RIVAL

The owner of a nursing home in the County has been successful in blocking another nursing home going up in the same area.

Denis Kenny was given permission for a nursing home/ daycare centre at Gortnamona by County Planners.

However, Richard Keane of Lough Corrib Nursing Home appealled this decision to An Bord Pleanála and he has been successful.
