HANDS AROUND OUR HOSPITAL PROTEST PLANNED FOR BALLINASLOE

People in county Galway are being encouraged to don their club or county colours and join in a protest to protect Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe next week.

The demonstration called ‘Hands Around Our Hospital’ is being organised by Portiuncula Hospital Action Committee.

It’s in light of recent events concerning budget cutting within the HSE West region.

The protest will take place at Portiuncula Hospital next Tuesday at 1.30p.m.

Padraig Mulligan of IMPACT trade union is encouraging everyone to come out with banners and flags.
