HALF OF TUAM GUN LICENCES NOT RENEWED

Half of all gun holders in the Tuam Garda District have not renewed their gun licences so far this year.

A fee of 80 euro for guns and rifles is payable every three years.

Second reminder notices have been issued to some gun owners in Tuam and Gardaí are warning that it it’s not paid, a prosecution will ensue.
