GSPCA FOLLOWING A DEFINITE LINE OF ENQUIRY IN TUAM CRUELTY CASE

The Galway Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is following a definite line of enquiry in its investigation into the discovery of a dead horse along a disused railway in Tuam.

The horse, which had burn marks and was surrounded by burnt stakes, was found by walkers along the old Tuam to Athenry railway.

The GSPCA is concerned at the steady rise in calls regarding horse welfare being made each day to the animal charity.
