GREEN DRAGON KICKS OFF VOLVO 2012 PROMO TOUR

The renowned racing yacht Green Dragon has set sail to mainland Europe this morning to kick-start the promotion of Galway and the Volvo Ocean Race 2012.

It will sail to Holland, via Cork, before being transported by land to Frankfurt.

There it will take part in the Frankfurt Motor Show promoting the Volvo Ocean Race 2012 and the Global Village in Galway Docks.

Chairman of Let’s Do it Global Enda O’Coineen says bringing the yacht to Germany is just the start of a major build-up to next year’s race and the Galway finish line.
