A contractor has been appointed to rid Galway city of its graffiti

The Department of Justice and Galway City Council are reminding people that a graffiti removal project is in operation throughout the city.

The Community Warden Service highlights problem areas and monitors graffiti black spots.

Members of the public can also submit sites by contacting Galway City Council and the details will then be passed on to the Gardai.
