Government scraps plans for Inishbofin air service
Galway bay fm newsroom -A regular air service for Inishbofin is off the agenda for the foreseeable future.
The Government has abandoned plans for terminal buildings at newly constructed airstrips on the island and on the mainland in Connemara.
The Government is now looking at the possibility of disposing of both airstrips, which cost the State over €10m.
