GOVERNMENT BLAMED FOR GALWAY MOTORISTS OUT OF DATE DRIVING LICENCES

Hundreds of motorists in Galway are driving around with no driving licences because the department of the environment hasn’t sent them renewal notices.

That’s according to Fine Gael City Cllr Padraig Conneely who claims many motorists have overlooked renewing their 10 year licences because of the failure.

The renewal notice motorists used to get in the post has been discontinued.
