GORT TOWN DEVELOPMENT GETS GO-AHEAD

Gort Town Centre is set for change now that planning permission has been granted for a new pub, restuarant, shop and apartments there.

Seamus Carroll has got the go-ahead to demolish Carrolls Bar at Church Street and build the more attractive development in its place.

In allowing the development to go ahead, county planners stipulate that ninety three thousand euro must be paid by the developer as part of the Development Contributions Scheme.
