Gort tourist office to open following community campaign

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A new tourist office is to open in Gort next month following a community campaign.
Rural tourism organization ‘The Burren Lowlands’ has been given the use of a rent free premises in the town to provide a tourist information service.
The office will be located in the Square in Gort and the unit has been offered for six months by local businessmen Michael and Sean Mullins.
Co-ordinator Fiona O’ Driscoll says the generosity of local people made the office possible.
