GORT GETS NEW RESIDENCE FOR MENTAL HEALTH PATIENTS

The HSE West has opened a new facilility for Mental Health service users in Gort.

The venture has been made possible by a Partnership Agreement between Galway Mental Health Services and the Gort Mental Health Association.

The residence situated on the Ennis Road will provide 24 hour care for upto 4 clients and wil also give respite care to support service users and carers.

Brian O Malley Assistant Director of Nursing for Galway Mental Health Services says that its great to be able to provide a full time service in the gort area.
