GORT EGG FARMER TO STAND TRIAL IN UK OVER ALLEGED EGG FRAUD

A former Galway hurling star facing charges in connection with an alleged multi-million pounds egg fraud in the UK is to stand trial next month.

Gort egg farmer and 1987 All-Ireland Hurling winner Pearse Piggott will be among four businessman due to go on trial on January the 12th.
