Plans to redevelop protected houses in Loughrea dating back to the early 19th century have got the go ahead

George Fahey and George McGrath have got the go ahead to build 13 apartments, 21 townhouses, shops, offices and a car park on Bride Street and Moore Street

The development includes the demolition of No. 10 Bride Street, Loughrea, which is not a protected structure to be replaced with a two storey building

Numbers 11,12, and 13 Bride Street, which date back to the early 1830s are protected strutures and therefore will be preserved
