GO AHEAD FOR NEW BUILDING FOR RENMORE GAELSCOIL

Renmore is closer to getting a new building for the local gaelscoil.

The City Council has granted planning permission for a new two-storey building for Gaelscoil Dara at GMIT Sports Field on the Dublin Road.

The Minister for Education applied for the school to be built with 16 classrooms, a staff room, a library and a general purpose room.

It will also have 32 car spaces, a set-down area, ball courts, bicycle paths and a junior play area.
