GMIT PLANS TO EXPAND SPORTS FACILITIES

The Galway Mayo Insitute of Technology is planning to develop its sports facilities.

The third level institution on the Dublin Road in the city has applied for permission to build a 2 storey sports building.

There are further plans to build more car parking spaces, and new and improved pedestrian and bus stop facilities.
