GMIT AND MARINE INSTITUTE FORM ALLIANCE

Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology and the Marine Institute have teamed up to further develop marine research capabilities.

The two organisations have signed a memorandum of understanding for a collaboration and sharing of expertise.

It’s hoped the alliance between GMIT and the Marine Institute at Rinville will make Ireland more competitive in securing EU funding for research.
