Global I.T company and NUIG develop new technology

A global IT company, in collaboration with NUI Galway, has developed new technology to enable better analysis of online information.

Fujitsu and NUIG’s Digital Enterprise Research Institute teamed up to develop a platform to bring together countless data sources to provide a single reference point.

The Irish Times reports that part of the technology is a search function enabling users to quickly sort and access data in a consistent format.
