GLENGOWLA MAIN FOCUS OF ORAL HEARING ON MAAM CROSS TO OUGHTERARD ROAD

Issues regarding a proposed new section of the Maam Cross to Oughterard road in the Glengowla area made up a large part of today’s oral hearing in Galway city.

Concerns were also expressed by angling interests in Oughterard.

The hearing is still continuing this evening and may go into a third day tomorrow.
