Glenamaddy murder trial adjourned after juror goes home

Galway Bay fm newsroom – The trial of a 37-year-old Latvian at the Central Criminal Court sitting in Galway had to be adjourned this afternoon after one of the twelve jurors went home unexpectedly at lunchtime.

Sergejs Krauze, with a former address in Dudley Heights, Glenamaddy, is charged with the murder of Juris Buls on a date unknown between July 7 and 23, 2011, at a place unknown within the State, contrary to Common Law.

Mr Justice Barry White said the trial could not continue with just eleven jurors and he  adjourned matters to tomorrow morning.
