GERMAN MAN ARRESTED FOR TRYING TO STEAL JEEP IN MOUNTBELLEW

A 35 year-old German man has been remanded in custody in connection with the attempted robbery of a jeep in Mountbellew.

Simon Schuster appeared before Galway District Court today, charged with interfering with the jeep and the theft of a wallet at 12.30pm in the town yesterday.
