GERARD BARRY TO STAND TRIAL IN MARCH FOR ASSAULTS

A city man charged with the assault of two Gardai, a woman and her then-two year old son will have his case heard in Galway on March 24th.

Gerard Barry, originally from 65 St James Crescent Mervue was not in Galway District Court today when Judge Mary Fahy set the date.

The 30 year old, with former rental addresses at Rosan Glas and Tur Uisce, Doughiska is currently serving two life sentences in the Midlands prison for other convictions.
