GARDAI WARN OF DUD 50 EURO NOTES IN BALLINASLOE

Gardai are warning that fake 50 Euro notes are in circculation on the eve of the Ballinasloe fair.

They are urging people to watch out for the dud notes and to report anythinf suspicious to them

The horse will be king in Ballinasloe for the next week as Europe’s oldest horse fair gets underway from tomorrow (sun 30)

It’s all part of the nine day great October fair and festival in the town which is expected to inject about eight million euro into the local economy.
