GARDAI TREATING SILVERSTRAND BODY FIND AS SUDDEN DEATH

Gardaí say they’re treating as a sudden death, that of 25 year old Paul Cole whose body was found washed up on Silverstrand beach yesterday morning.

The Lorry driver from Raphoe in Donegal had been living in Galway but hadn’t been seen since last Saturday night at 9 o’clock.

He disappeared from the Bruach na Coiribe walkway off the Salmon Weir Bridge and O’Briens Bridge in the city centre.

A post mortem will be carried out later on today but gardaí say there is nothing to indicate foul play.
