Gardai reviewing CCTV footage after aggravated city burglary
Galway Bay fm newsroom – Gardaí are reviewing CCTV footage in an effort to catch the culprits of an aggravated theft in the city centre early today.

A 60 year old man was tied up during the robbery which happened at a house on Eyre Street at around 4 o’clock this morning.
The 60 year old man – who’s the owner of the Hole in the Wall pub – wasn’t injured during the robbery.
However a substantial sum of money – believed to be tens of thousands of euro, which was in a suitcase was taken by the culprits.
Gardaí are reviewing video footage from the area and are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Woodquay area around 4a.m to contact them.
