GARDAI PREPARE FILE FOR DPP FOLLOWING ROBBERY IN BALLINASLOE

Gardai in Ballinalsoe are preparing a file for the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to a robbery at a petrol station yesterday.

A youth was arrested at 8.30am after entering the Topaz station at Brackernagh and allegedly wielding a hammer and knife and demanding cash and goods.

It’s understood a quantity of cigarettes was also taken.
