GARDAI NOT TREATING DISCOVERY OF MANS BODY IN TUAM AS SUSPICIOUS

Gardaí say they are not treating the discovery of a man’s body in Tuam today as suspicious.

Gardaí recovered the body of the man, in his early 50s from a river behind St.jarlath’s college in Tuam this morning.

Tuam Gardaí had been searching for a man reported missing from his home in the Parkmore estate last evening.

The body was discovered just after ten o’ clock this morning at the river.

A post mortem has been carried out on the man’s body, and Gardaí say they are not treating the death as suspicious.
