GARDAI LAUNCH INVESTIGATION INTO CITY FIRE

Gardaí have launched an investigation after a fire broke out at a derelict building at the Tuam road in the city last night.

Galway city fire services spent three hours battling the blaze at ‘Connacht House’ on the Tuam road.

Galway fire services were alerted to the fire at Connacht House at around 10 0′ clock last night.

They managed to get the blaze under control at around 1a.m.
