Gardaí investigate spree of county burglaries

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Gardaí in Loughrea and Gort are investigating a spree of house burglaries which took place over a three day period this week.
Gardaí say they’re investigating the possibility that the incidents are linked.
Several homes in Gort, Kilcreest and Kilnadeema were broken into in broad daylight on Sunday and Monday.
A further string of burglaries took place in Kylebrack, Killimor, Peterswell and Earlspark Loughrea on Monday night and into the early hours of yesterday.
Items taken from the homes include small electronic household items, jewellery, cash and a chainsaw.
