GARDAI INVESTIGATE DISCOVERY OF WOMAN’S BODY IN CITY

A woman in her twenties has been found dead on waste ground in Galway city.

The body was found in rough scrub-land by a passer-by between Lakeshore Drive in Renmore and Ceannt Railway Station at 9.30 this morning.

Galway Gardai are treating the circumstances of her death as suspicious and have launched a major investigation.
