GARDAI INVESTIGATE BURGLARIES IN CITY AND COUNTY OVERNIGHT

Gardai are conducting door-to-door enquiries following a burglary at a city apartment last night which took place while the resident was in bed.

It happened at an apartment in Lios Ealtan, Lower Salthill between half four and 4.50am.

The burglar entered the apartment at Lower Salthill through a window and a mobile phone was stolen.

Meanwhile,

Gardaí in Tuam are investigating two burglaries in the town overnight.

The Mercy Convent Secondary School and The Den Youth Centre, both at Dublin Road, were broken into between midnight and 7 o’ clock this morning.
