GARDAI INVESTIGATE ASSAULT AT BALLINASLOE PLAYGROUND

Gardai in Ballinasloe are investigating an assault in the town last evening.

A group of people congregated in the playground close to Hymany housing estate when the alleged assault occurred.

Two men were taken by ambulance to hospital, but were discharged this morning.
