GARDAI HUNT AHASCRAGH SHOP RAIDERS

Gardaí are searching for raiders who broke into a premises in Ahascragh overnight.
The shop and filling station in Ahascragh village was raided in the early hours of today and a quantity of cash and cigarettes was stolen.
The raiders gained entry by smashing the front window.
A dark coloured car with at least two suspects was seen in the area at the time.
Ballinasloe Gardaí are urging anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in and around Ahascragh last night to contact them.
Meanwhile, Gardaí are also investigating a break-in at ‘The Trading Post’ pub and filling station in Headford early this morning.
Cigarettes were stolen at the premises on the Galway Road shortly after 2a.m.
Detectives are currently at the scene.
