GARDAI EXAMINE CCTV FOOTAGE IN HEADFORD ATTACK

Gardaí in Headford are reviewing local CCTV footage in an effort to find the man who attacked a young mother in her Headford home.

The incident happened at her home in Mausrevagh, close to St.Cuana’s National School at around quarter to one yesterday.

The woman, in her 30s, went to the basement of her home, where a man grabbed her hair and hit her head off the wall before fleeing the scene.

She was not seriously injured but has been left traumatised by the incident.

Her young child was upstairs in the house at the time.
