Gardaí complete technical examination at Milltown

A postmortem will take place at UHG today on the body of a man who was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash in Milltown yesterday afternoon.

He’s been named locally as Patrick Coyne, from Swinford in Co. Mayo.

The 72 year crashed the car he was driving into a wall beside Milltown National School on the N17 shortly after 3pm.

No one else was involved in the incident, and a technical examination at the scene will be completed this morning.
