GARDAI ARREST MAN OVER SPATE OF ROBBERIES IN BALLINASLOE

Gardai in Ballinasloe have arrested a man in connection with a spate of robberies that have taken place in the area recently.

The man is due to appear before Nenagh district court this morning.
