Garda investigation following Portumna fire

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Gardai have launched an investigation following a fire at a commercial premises in Portumna overnight.

Two units of Portumna fire brigade attended the blaze which broke out on St. Patrick’s Street at around 2.30am.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

Scenes of crime investigators are to carry out a technical examination of the scene later this morning.
