Galway’s online marketing immersion

Athenry-based online entrepreneur Martha Fraser is busy putting the final touches to the line-up for the Shine Adventure Workshop, one day online marketing event which takes place on Saturday week in Galway’s Meyrick Hotel.

This event is for anyone who wants to learn how to sell their knowledge, products, or services online, reach more people and increase their income.

Speakers and panellists will travel from London, Brussels and around Ireland with input from USA and Bali, Indonesian Islands, on the day.

‘This event  is an excellent add on to supports already delivered in digital media and will enable clients to develop their confidence and build their business using online media smartly, commented Breda Fox, Head of the Local Enterprise Office Galway, one of the sponsors of the event.

Martha Fraser, who has a BSc in computer science and mathematics from NUI Maynooth, is based in Athenry, and she is a former software engineer with Avaya, Motorola and Iona Technologies. Since 2010 she has been an avid learner and entrepreneur of online business, earning online.

Martha has come a long way from finding herself redundant, unemployed and in the dole queue, facing emigration and is keen to share her own journey to online entrepreneurial success to help others do the same. Martha is now also a specialised online trainer and mentor with the Local Enterprise Office Galway for the last few years.
