GALWAY YOUTH PLEADS GUILTY TO INJURING MAN WHILE DRIVING STOLEN CAR

A 16 year old youth pleaded guilty before Galway Circuit Criminal Court this week to causing serious injury to a man while driving a stolen car.

The juvenile, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to stealing a car from St. Mary’s Road, in the city on January 31, last year.

He also pleaded guilty to driving the car at speed and in a dangerous manner on the same date, which caused serious bodily harm to a man at Lough Atalia Road.
