Galway winner at Garden Awards

Moycullen-based Radharc Landscaping took two of the top prizes when Bord Bia presented its annual Garden Industry Awards at a reception in its Dublin headquarters last week.

The awards recognise and promote excellence across the gardening industry while celebrating the industry’s dedication to achieving the highest standards of operation.

Radharc Landscaping received a Landscape Quality Award, alongside a special award for ‘Environmental Practice’. The Landscape Quality Award standard was achieved by seventeen landscape contractors, the only companies in the country to achieve this award.

The judges noted that “the business has excellent environmental policies in place which are frequently reviewed and improved upon. Not only do they have well-organised recycling facilities but they have actively been seeking to reduce the use of chemicals and implementing environmentally friendly landscaping practices.”
