GALWAY WEST TD ELECTED CHAIR OF FINE GAEL PARLIAMENTARY PARTY

Galway West Deputy Padraig McCormack has been re-elected as Chairman of the Fine Gael Parliamentary Party.

The election took place late last night in the Dáil.

Deputy McCormack defeated outgoing chairman Tom Hayes from Tipperary and Joe McHugh from Donegal by one vote.

He’ll be Chairman for the next two years or until the next General Election is held.
