GALWAY WEST: No timeline on recount announcement

Returning officer Marian Chambers Higgins said a first count of the recount should be announced “very soon”.

She said the process of recounting in Galway West was “complicated and demanding”.

They are “endeavouring to have” the first count of the recount “very soon” but she added: “It is not something I can give a timeline on”.
